Dear Families,
FBCS has expanded how we communicate when an emergency closure will occur. Emergency closures cover not only snow days, but any unforeseen incident in which school must be closed. Please read below where you can find emergency closure information:
Announcements of such closures will be made via:
1) FBCS texting service
2) Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
3) Canvas
4) www.forrestbirdcharterschool.org
5) KPND and KPBX radio stations
6) KREM and KHQ television stations
If LPOSD is closed for snow, FBCS will be as well. If Bonners Ferry schools are closed for snow, FBCS will be open but we will not run the North Bus.
At times there may be a need to close the school early due to weather. We will send this information out via texting, Canvas, social media and the website.
